How Do I Join?IATSE Local #11 is a labor union and a seniority-based hiring hall. We have an A, B, C, & D List referral system. Everyone starts on the D list and earns their way through our hiring hall by time-in & earnings. We refer stagehands to work for various employers throughout the greater Boston area. We represent workers in all aspects of the Live Events industry including Theatrical, Corporate and Concert Productions.
Union Membership
An application for Union Membership may be requested by any hiring hall participant at any time.
Union membership is encouraged for all participants once they earn their way onto the C list or vest in our pension plan.
If you are a current ACT or IATSE member living within our jurisdiction interested in transferring to Local 11 you may request a membership application at any time.
